BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Guillermo Santos Laspiur Abad nació en Vitoria el 10 de febrero de 1871 y falleció en Pamplona el 1 de enero de 1955. Fue pianista, organista y compositor. Procedente de una familia dedicada a la música (era nieto del primer solista de la Banda de Alabarderos, sobrino del organista José María Abad Egusquiza y hermano del también organista Leopoldo Laspiur), desde muy pronto mostró su vinculación con esta disciplina. A los nueve años era tiple de la catedral de Santa María de Vitoria y a los catorce años segundo organista de esta catedral. Perfeccionó sus estudios en Tolosa con el músico Felipe Gorriti.
Ya en Pamplona se presentó a la plaza de pianista del Nuevo Casino de Pamplona, entidad de la que fue pianista titular entre 1890 y 1932. El maestro Pablo Sarasate solicitó su participación como pianista acompañante en los conciertos que ofrecía periódicamente en Pamplona. Perteneció al profesorado de la Academia Municipal de Música, de la que fue director entre 1914 y 1940, y en la que tuvo entre otros alumnos a Luis Belzunegui Arruti. En 1909 fue nombrado vicepresidente de la Sociedad de Conciertos Santa Cecilia. Perteneció al Quinteto Aramendía junto a José Goicoechea, Vicente Azoz, Leandro Sánchez y el propio Felipe Aramendía. Fue socio de honor del Orfeón Pamplonés y de la Orquesta Santa Cecilia. Cuando la Orquesta Santa Cecilia volvió a constituirse en 1933, en el primer programa de la nueva época, Santos Laspiur interpretó el Concierto en sol menor de Mendelssohn.

CONTENTS
La documentación recibida de Santos Laspiur reúne parte de su producción -otra parte importante de sus partituras se conserva en el archivo del Nuevo Casino Principal- y está formada principalmente por partituras musicales, fotografías y tarjetas postales. Todos estos documentos reflejan la estrecha relación de Santos Laspiur, tanto con sus discípulos, como con diferentes personalidades de la música de su entorno.

The documentation is accessible to the public in person at the facilities of the Royal and General Archive of Navarre.

- Sculptures; drawings, paintings, engravings, lithography; cartoons and comics; their preparatory work and sketches, and other plastic work, whether applied or not.
- Projects, drawings, models and designs of architectural and engineering works.
- Graphics, maps and designs relating to topography, geography and science in general.
- Photographic works and other procedures that are similar to photography.
- Computer software.
2. The title of a work will be protected as part of the work, provided that it is original.
Article 37. Reproduction, lending and consultation of works through specialised terminals in certain establishments.
1. Copyright holders cannot object to the reproduction of works, when this is a not-for-profit activity by museums, libraries, record libraries, film libraries, newspaper libraries, publicly-owned archives or archives that are part of cultural or scientific institutions and provided that the reproduction is solely made for research or conservation purposes.
2. Likewise, museums, archives, libraries, newspaper libraries, record libraries and film libraries that are either publicly owned or are part of not-for-profit organisations of general cultural, scientific or educational interest integrated in the Spanish educational system, shall not require the authorisation of the copyright holders for any loans made.
