The Music and Performing Arts Archive of Navarre offers the public the same services as the Royal and General Archive of Navarre under the same conditions, i.e. on-site document consultation and document reproduction services. Both services are provided together with the advice of the archive’s technical officers and according to the instructions which regulate them.
An information and reference service (in person or by email) is also made available to give those interested an idea of the scope and contents of the documentary collections which the archive houses and to guide them regarding the use of the description instruments at their disposal, referring them to other archives if necessary.
Access to the Archive is open and free of charge. In order to gain access to the facility and consultation and reproduction services available, it is necessary to register in the internal management computer system beforehand. Digital or paper copies of documents and books are provided, depending on the medium and conservation status of the original, upon payment of the relevant fees.
The Royal and General Archive of Navarre also has a specialised research support library, whose catalogue can be consulted online via the Specialised Library section of the collective catalogue of the Library Network of Navarre. To facilitate consultation, there is a Centre of Interest which groups together titles on music, dance and theatre in the free-access reading room in the general library collection.
